End of summer

Here’s a quick update for you all…

I’ve been busy… with assembling promo kits for radio shows and magazine reviewers, mailing them out (more than 1000 = lots of money spent), and preparing for upcoming orchestra auditions.  The big news is that the well-anticipated WAITIKI 7 (the new band) will be touring major cities of the Northeast Coast in September (Boston, New York, Philly, Washington DC) for the release of our new CD album, “Adventures in Paradise.”  Pre-order today and get to know our story along with yummy food and drink recipes that can be found in the inserts.  Hope to see you at one of our shows and mahalo for your love and support!

Summer hiatus

Aloha from Hawaii!  As many of you know, I am currently in Honolulu and soaking up lots of vitamin D, which is much needed, I heard, on the northeast coast.  I’ll try to send some sunshine over there. *waves both hands*

My days have been pretty relaxed as R and I have the whole house to ourselves (we’re housesitting for relatives).  There’s not much to do around the house except water the plants and feed the dog and cat, and for awhile we were suffering from internet withdrawal and trying to leech off of neighboring wi-fi which doesn’t work because the flakiness.  I also try to get in some basic practicing in.  It’s tough though because all I want to do here is EAT and watch criminal TV shows like Law & Order and Cold Case.  Yeah, not very productive.  But I’m looking forward to playing some chamber music with a friend.  We’re trying to put something together for at least the PMI faculty concert at the end of July.  We’ll see what happens.

In the meantime, I’ll entertain you with some pictures:
