Some Thoughts on Myself
As most of my friends know, I am a quiet and sensitive individual who enjoys laughing and having a good time. Sometimes if you're lucky, you'll even hear a sarcastic one-liner pop out of me. Anyways, like most people, I am happy to possess some talents: I love to draw and paint, have good hand and eye coordination, have a musical ear (but no perfect pitch), and good intuition about people. Some recent news include obtaining a Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in violin performance from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and getting engaged to my best friend and music and life partner Randy Wong. I love working with great musicians such as Pam Frank, Ani Kavafian, and the Emerson String Quartet and WAITIKI and those experiences makes me realize that I'm pretty lucky to be where I am. All I can do now is hope for the best and look towards the future.

If I weren't a musician (hard to believe right?), maybe I would become a food critic or an optometrist or a veternarian. I love to eat and I'm pretty open to anything. I enjoy my carbs and asian foods, but one day I hope to try more European dishes (French, Russian, German). Here's a short list of my favorite places to eat:
