Teaching

Violin student

As a motivated teacher who is always on-the-go, I extend my teaching to reasonable locations outside of Boston.  I am on the violin/viola and piano faculty at the Bradford School of Music in North Andover, MA. I also teach privately in and around Boston.  Students of all ages are welcome because I believe each person has their own voice in expressing music, and it is my job to guide the student on HOW to project his voice no matter at what level.  Having a concentration in Music-in-Education from the New England Conservatory has taught me more innovative approaches to teaching, and has introduced and enabled me to do research-based projects for music integration data analysis, which has opened my mind on understanding how students learn.

I am also happily part of the Music Plus Music Integration Violin Pilot Program teaching team at the Atrium School in Watertown, MA, where each student in the second and third grade receive integrated education through music and literacy using the violin as a tool for learning.
